Hi All,

So. I took video of this song and I know some people were wanting to see it. I had to compress the file because it was so huge...so the image is a bit distorted (and the sound isn't crystal clear, but isn't too bad). Hey, what do you want from a digi-cam?

So here's the link:

http://www.jtcdesign.com/movies/eisley0415.html

**Even though I compressed it, its still a huge file and may take a while to download if you're on a slow connection, so hang in there! Go get some coffee and a scone while you're waiting**

Thanks kids,

*JESS*

Hey thank you!

I can't make out the lyrics really but you can still get the just of the song. The one thing I really remembered about the song from hearing it in concert was the line "we can get down" or something to that effect.

I just think of the band in their own mini street gang "throwing down" with someone, like MJ in "Beat It". Not like I see them as brawlers, but you know what I mean Wink

Thanks, I had kind of forgotten what this song was like, +D

EDIT: Now I remember, it reminded me of The Bends (album not the song)

I can totally hear that. At the Lawrence show, however, Sherri sounded so much like Leigh Nash on that song. It's kind of a Sixpence melody, with Radiohead chord changes and rhythm. That's a mix only Eisley can pull off.

Thanks for posting this! It is great! How different is the original version from the compressed version? Could you make an mp3 from the original? I am probably going to try and make an mp3 from the version you posted, but the quality is probably going to be poor.

You know, I'm not actually sure how to do that! It came off my camera as a .mov and was 89MB! I put it in flash and compressed it to 16MB. If you can explain how to turn it into an mp3 file, I'll gladly try...

I'm sure they will (probably). They're using this tour to work out kinks and stuff. But even if they don't, the other new songs are aaaamazing too. Smile

Thanks. I love this song. It's probably 1 of my top favorites of the new ones.

What's happened to them?! That was not a very good new song at all. It makes me sad. Sounds to me like they've forgotten their original eisley sound!!!

Hmm. Interesting take on that...

I don't think they've "forgotten" their "original eisley sound". I don't see them asking each other "Hey, what is our 'sound' again?". They've grown and moved on and are taking things in a different direction. It still sounds like Eisley to me.
