this would have been acceptable, but instead i'll have to kill you, and then steal the aussie's money who won the last world series of poker.

yeah, joesph hascem won the main event. the name "world series" is just a name for a number of the most prestigous tournaments that take place per year. there's the world poker tour, which is basically the same thing, but not a s prestigous

poker isn't really a sport per say, but it is a game of skill, so i would hesitate to put it right on the same level as other gambling activities.

I don't doubt for a second that it involves skill, in fact I would think it would be extremely competitive...plus you'd need soime big balls to make some moves

I just always thought of poker as a drunken game you play with buddies Laughing

i agree with Ryan

while $5 buy ins are fun and all with friends from time to time, its just silly because no one who is only willing to pay 5 bucks actually knows how to play the game and you get crazy stuff happening that makes no sense

personally on a 5 dollar buy in I play so loose that I scare the crap out of the entire table and bleed them, real quiet like and leave them there to die

heh, well if i end up building a bank roll online that's big enough to afford a bigger buy in i will. i try and keep my buy ins less than 10-15% of my bank roll.

where do you two play? full tilt?
