Well i kept playing eisley when my mum was around... at first she hated it but after a while she came around. it sounds kinda harsh but i kinda wish she didn't...
whenever i play it she sings along, but she doesn't know all the words so she just freestyles kinda and humms a bit. i get so annoyed but i'm not gonna ever say anything to her about it...ah well
as long as one of us has fun...
i love her...just not the way she sings eisley...

my mom always hums to eisley too. i once took a roadtrip with all my siblings and they all started singing to "ODISFA"...it was so funny to hear them, but they got onto the chorus very quickly. Laughing

Really none of my immediate family members like Eisley, but my sister does love Pretender and One More Day With You (even though it's really not an Eisley song, it's still Eisley-related). She really likes Chauntelle's voice. Though my entire family has been to an Eisley concert before: my mom has been twice, my sister's been twice, my dad has only seen 'em once. They're all supportive of my musical tastes so they tag along with me to their concerts.

Then with my grandparents, they only listen to country, folk, or blue-grass. I like looking at their vinyl collection because sometimes I come across a really cool folk album that a play endlessly at their house. But I never introduced them to Eisley's lovely music yet-- they'd probably say, "What is this?! Rock-n-roll?!" Haha, they even thought Phantom of the Opera was rock-n-roll before.

My family members do not realize that there is music outside the radio, so whenever I'm listening to music, they're like who/what? It's like a new discovery, but I've gotten a handful of people into Eisley; however, some people may not "get" their music... what's there not to get?
My mom likes Eisley now, at first she was like oh, okay, I get it...

I showed my mom "Memories" and she liked it I think, and then "Golly Sandra," and she liked that too, but then I showed her "Plenty of Paper," which I think scared her away ....

I've been using "Sea King" on my friends. So far it's worked every time. Very Happy

That's so cool! My grandma loves Eisley as well, and so does my mom. It's great that they appeal so much to all ages.

My friend likes Head Against The Sky and Trolley Wood. She thinks Just Like We Do is only ok. Actually now that I think about it, a lot of my friends like Trolley Wood but unfortunately they don't pursue their other songs.

My brother on the other hand hates Eisley. He's always like "Go listen to your folk music," whenever he mentions them even though they aren't really folk. Then he sings a warped version of Stacy's "ah ahh ahh" on Marvelous Things because it used to be my ringtone.

I have not had any luck in converting people to Eisley. Sad

ha, yeah, my best friend loves them now, she liked them before, but after we went to the concert, she REALLY got into them, it was cool.

my brother likes Eisley a lot, so does my dad and mom, my sister is kind of, on the verge of converting to the Eisley-ness of the world, heh.

but yeah, i actually saw Eisley on a christian music video show, and i was like, i like them, but i didn't pursue that much into it for a while.

then when i saw they had a debut cd coming out, i was like, oh, i remember them, and then i fell in love, the end.

i really like Head Against The Sky, it's really different from any other song because it's really rock. but still it's eisley because of their fabulous lyrics. they are so clever when it comes to writing songs.

Pretender is really good too. Chauntelle has a unique voice, it sounds like Sherri's only a little more deeper and it sounds like her voice when she talks. if only she would start to sing again...maybe in the new album? Smile

it seems as if most people I come across already know or atleast know of Eisley. Is it a Texas thing? Or that most of my friends go to Vinyard churches?
