It's glum outside...humid and dank. the Dorian-moor has engrossed the forest fronds...and our once turgid foliage has been exacerbated by the methane gill excretion from the night Gorns...hairy and vapid. Radio frequencies are weak. Colonel Bob Dern and Commander Hank Tusk huddle quietly... "Alpha 1 to base....get us out of here" "repeat...Alpha 1 to base...get us the golly dern out of here". (pause) "Alpha 1 to base....Gorns are on the move..." "SHH!! Bob...did you hear that? SHH..." (long silent pause...sound of hoves and breaking branches) "AHH AHAHHHWAHAHH AHAAAA!!!!!! HANK NO!!....AHHHHHHH!!" _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Boyd whenever you're away from home with the Eisley's we always seem to have to remind you that sleep is a good thing. really. _________________ "A mathematician is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat which isn't there." - Charles Darwin (legend) |
