Don't you think there should be something like that, to buy over the counter? I'm happy as can be for the marriage of Chad and Sherri, so why do I cry if I think about the wedding, make a flower girl basket for Kayla, or any other thing to do with the wedding? AND.....I know I will be just one big emotional, crying, baby at the wedding. I'm kinda stressed about it. I don't want to cry at such a joyous occasion. Somebody must have a suggestion....but, it must be legal. Also, I do not drink so that won't be a help. Oh well....maybe I'll get a grip. |

Emotions are a funny thing. When they are real, and heart felt, there is no way to hold them inside. So be prepared for all of it. Laughing, crying, happiness, sadness. It isn't easy to see your little girl all grown up (even if she has already been all grown up for some time now, a wedding just brings all that home, especially the moving out part, first one moving out especially). Just live the day, and don't hold the tears back if that is how you are feeling at one or several moments. This will be a joyous occasion full of all the emotions. I've teared up at a wedding of a friend before. It happens. |

Let it all out Kim. Like the person said before, happy tears are great. _________________ "I should have listened to my friends" www.myspace.com/georgeproject www.purevolume.com/jesusworshiper |

well, i think absolutely no one will mind you crying about your baby's wedding but you know what might be good? get a notebook or something like that and when you feel yourself starting to get emotional, write down what it is that's causing you to feel that way. i realize that it's probably something that you wouldn't have a lot of time for when it's the 11th hour like this, but at the same time, it'd be something good to do in the evening, when you're winding down. or post-wedding, when you've got it all on your mind. you write really wonderfully, and i've always enjoyed what you've written, so it would be a beautiful addition to sherri's scrapbook. _________________ "Die Sonne scheint noch" -- Sophie Scholl <3 <3 <3 |

i've always felt that tears of joy and tears of sadness happen on two separate occasions that warrant the same action. it's perfectly normal and absolutely acceptable for a mother to cry tears of joy during the wedding of her daughter, it's just that most people forget to distinguish between tears of joy and sadness. you can let it all out, I'm sure sherri and chad won't mind _________________ ...life should sparkle and rush, burn with fire hot like melting steel, like freeze-burn from a comet. |
