There's no sheet music for the songs on Room Noises except what fans have created, and "I Wasn't Prepared" is not among those. You can, however, find the chords at http://eisleytab.cjb.net and get a musically-inclined friend to play it. Good luck! _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I tried inverting the Room Noise version to get rid of the vocals, it brings them way down, but you also lose most of the bass guitar. But, as Hannah said, I'm sure you could find someone to play the chords for you on guitar or piano. They are really simple. _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! I'm from Spring too!! Do you mind me asking what school? Anyways... I believe that walmart.com has some way of doing it so I've heard. My sister was interested in singing an Eisley song as well and someone told us that for $20 walmart would take out the lyrics... it could just be a rumor though. Here's the link to Eisley at walmart: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3560701 _________________

I've never heard of anything like that and I think if a company tried to do something of that nature there would be major issue with copyright and licensing. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

You know I was thinking that too when we were told that. _________________

It's one of the easiest ones to tab out by ear I believe. Do you play anything? Actually, when is this talent thing? Maybe I can help in some way. Actually the whole thing sounds really far-fetched, but it would have worked if we had known each other beforehand. And with that creepy idea, I will shut up. Every word I just wrote sounds really creepy to me all of a sudden. |

In fact, I live in Houston oddly enough. But then again like 5 million other people live in the Houston area as well, so I guess the chances weren't that slim to begin with. There's a thin line between sweet/helpful and creepy. I've learned that the hard way. You sound like the helpful sort though. _________________ "If you're a ninja, every day is like friday." -Jamie M. |

haha, thanks. I think it was just the all too coincidental nature of this situation that threw me off really bad. I almost feel like I gave away my social security number, too... like anyone who knows me would recognize my secret Eisley posting identity if I said another word about myself. Not that people I know come here. I don't think... how would I know? |

Not that people I know come here. I don't think... how would I know? On the one hand I don't want certain people I know to see what I have to say on the web. On the other hand, I give away so much information about myself (through my screen name, location, web site, etc) that it's not hard to know who I am. The other problem is that my "web life" and my "real life" seem to be overlapping more and more all the time. Anyway, sorry to stray away from the topic of this thread. _________________ "If you're a ninja, every day is like friday." -Jamie M. |

Here is a pdf of the chords. If you'd like me to try and record a simple, but vocal-less version of it, just let me know. The link _________________ Thistledown |

The other problem is that my "web life" and my "real life" seem to be overlapping more and more all the time. Yeah, that must be it. I prefer to be able to slip away from my "web life," and certainly the parts of "my real" life that I can't call home. I'm glad there is such a place, and that the address is unknown. The world always seems to become more and more complicated the longer you stick around though. You get used to the idea of interacting (umm... in a way) with total strangers on this odd little screen and keys. And yet, as much as I would like to be involved and confess a slew of silent thoughts, I feel a strong impulse to cover my tracks and retreat most of the time. There is something restrictive about sharing a room with outdated versions of yourself. I'm more of a "burn the manuscript" type. And speaking of manuscripts, I think I'm pulling an all nighter over this one. Geez. No wonder I'm such an escapist. Music is my best friend at this ungodly hour. Obviously I'm rambling too. Rambling is also my friend. Well, now I'll thank all you strangers for your rambling thoughts and hit the books. |

Inverting the channels will cancel out everything in both channels; typically the lead vocals and bass. Though why people center the bass anymore, I don't know... _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog .. Facebook |

Probably because the recorded bass has a smaller frequency response. Guitars have lots of harmonics which can be panned any which way, and drums are often panned like you would naturally hear them. No one cares about bass, =( _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |

In my experience, panning the bass center helps with the foundation. _________________ Thistledown |
