Thought I'd finally post a few of my pictures from Canton. Can't believe the show was only a month ago. Seems like it's been forever. Things have been so busy since.

Anyway, I'm so glad I made the trip from Freeport (60 miles south of Houston). You know, I didn't think I'd encounter so many towns that make Freeport seem big.

Overall, the show was a thoroughly awkward experience for me. I didn't know anybody there and so many people seemed so much younger than me. Why does 25 feel so old? It doesn't help that I suffer from a little social anxiety. But all the anxiety went away when Eisley took the stage. It was nice.

I'd like to make it to Dallas in May. We shall see. Things should be less busy then. We'll see.

no. not old. you must come to a Dallas show....also. hang with us. Trust me, there are many 20 somethings in this bunch. College is median perhaps, but -16-45 with plenty - you'd be surprised how many in the late 20's, 30's, 40's.

4:15am going to sleep.

(working on CD again) any post I'm on becomes my journal. picked eisley up at 2:30am from rehearsal - working on and excited about a new song called "silver bugs". it's great; you should hear....so many new ideas....especially, "they all surrounded me". (of course, about dragons) but...another in progress called....nah, I can't say....not sure of name.

thanks for driving all the way to Canton that night. gunite.

I liked I Wasn't Prepared For This. Of course... I don't have a clue what it sounds like any more. But I do know I liked it when I heard it.

The Canton show was well worth the drive. I had been having a rough week and good music cures high stress.

I hope to make it to Dallas. It'll be a great time for me to go since the school year will be winding down. I have a good friend living in Dallas, but she'll be in Chicago that weekend. Just my luck. I'll just have to face my fears... show up and deal with the anxiety of being around strangers while I'm far from home. But like I said... good music cures high stress.

In other news... I ordered my REM tickets through the fan club today. Woo hoo!

Oh yeah? Which one?

I was worried about annoying folks by taking pictures, but then I figured... hey it's a concert, not the ballet!
