Reading this post was "oh no! Why does this always happen when I sleep?!" But ... all seems well. I hope. I'm still out of it.

Trust me, Sherri does plenty on this album. And just because Stacy sings, it doesn't always mean Sherri didn't write. Wink

I was sitting there for like TEN MINUTES thinking that Taking a Joke and Unecessary Post were real songs on the album.

I heard the album for the first time yesterday and Sherri and Stacy each sing lead on 5 songs. I wonder if this was intentional.

Hm. Considering that the lead vocals don't necessarily reveal who wrote the song, it might be competely unintentional (like how the song lengths were so similar on Room Noises). But I'll have to think if I've heard anything about that, too ...

It was just the way the cookie crumbled. Not thought out, or planned.
They don't really compete on that stuff. They decide between themselves, who should sing what song.
Sometimes Sherri wants Stacy to sing something she wrote, and sometimes Stacy needs Sherri to sing something she wrote.

I really like how that works, too. From my interactions, I can vouch for this lack of sibling rivalry/competition, too. It bugs me how people seem to driven to project one onto them (not on this thread, but with some people in general). I can really feel the unity. ha

interesting. out of curiosity on the final version of the CD will the songs be broken down in the liner notes as to who wrote what? or will it just be credited as "Eisley" or "Stacy & Sherri Dupree". I can't remember how the songs were credited on R.N.

Good question! I was wondering about that myself. I believe in Room Noises it was just credited as "All Songs written by Eisley." Which is true, in essence, but it would be interesting if the liner notes gave more detail (in general).

If the liner notes say "All songs written by Eisley", does it mean that they all get an equal share in the profits'?
