Question for the mossy people. I got the one at cornerstone, but semi-recently you said you had the new ep finished. Is that a different one or is it the same one that was at cornerstone? Confused

I believe the one at Cornerstone only had 3 songs on it. This ep has 7 songs on it. Some that were on the 3 song, and 4 others.

The one at Cornerstone - at least the one I got - had 5 songs on it. 3 from back in the day and 2 newer ones.

You have to think of this music as a a song journal that's always for sale. At any point in time, you'll get what "was" and what "is". People can experience the musical journey, track the growth of the band and basically have one disc instead of 3 to keep up with.

Since at Cornerstone, nobody really knew who the band was or had heard any of their music, we included the old stuff. Then when Moss made the hack recording of Mr. pine and Laughing city at Midlake's house, we just figured..."well, where else are we going to put them?" So, there are now 7 songs on the CD.

Who knows what's next.

So it's sorta like the Matrix then? "There is no spoon." or "There is no MossEisley CD"

I dunno, I got nothin'

I have a question about the actual recordings on the CD. It sounds like to me that there was a lot of digital compression on some of the songs, much like the kind of digital compression swirly sounds on some MP3s. Has anyone else noticed this? You have to have a good sound system and good ears to hear it, but it drives me nuts to hear this on a CD.

just think: indie band....indie Cd....bootleg.....underground.....friends helping friends record....and maybe one day there'll be something beyond. Also...we're too poor to have a system that can tell the difference. Apologies to all you technoids.

Yeah, but he's talking about the MossEisley CD. It sounds good but...on his very cool system, he hears things - which is probably our fault. oh well...we do what we can do. Bartman - you're deep. That's why you rock at SOUND and making bands sound great. Very Happy (seriously, he has all new Peavy gear. don't laugh...the new stuff is rad)

Yes, it's Peavey, but I get compliments all the time and people saying "Wow, I didn't know Peavey could sound that good".
