Post subject: From the Screen to Your Stero Part 2-Sherri singing on it
Posted: Tue Jun 26, 2007 9:01 am NEW FOUND GLORY is currently in the studio recording From The Screen To Your Stereo Part 2. The album consists of the band’s own take on soundtrack songs from popular movies from the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s. Out September 18th, From The Screen To Your Stereo Part 2 includes covers of "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None The Richer from She’s All That, "Stay" by Lisa Loeb from Reality Bites, and "Iris" by The Goo Goo Dolls from City Of Angels. The disc features vocals from special guest musicians with more to be announced, including Lisa Loeb, Adam Lazarra from Taking Back Sunday, Will Pugh from Cartel and Sherri DuPree from Eisley. New Found Glory recently visited Pugh on the set of Cartel’s reality show on MTV "Band In A Bubble" to record vocals. _________________ Don't you let them tell you you're an ugly child. Actually, Jordan and Adam do the vocals on that song, (not sung to each other), and trust me, it sounds amazing. Sherri, Stacy, Christie DuPree, and Jessica Munns (LuvBeat), all sing parts on this record. It is a fun, uplifting album....yeah...I'm looking forward to it. |

golly andrew wrote: Lisa Loeb's "Stay" is one of my all-time favorite pop songs. It's just amazing. I agree. I love Lisa Loeb, I think she's highly underrated, and I also think her albums have gotten progressively better since "Tails." I met her once, and she was super cool, super nice even after playing a show and signing autographs forever (I was near the end of the line). So after hearing that "Stay" is going to be on this album, I'm super stoked. _________________ Peace.Love.Music. |

UPDATE! 2) "It Ain’t Me Babe" from Walk The Line (Sherri Dupree of Eisley) 6) "Love Fool" from Romeo and Juliet (Adam Lazarra of Taking Back Sunday Kim said that Stacy, Christie and Jessica are also on it; anyone know if they're doing gang vocals with Sherri or are appearing on another track? _________________ |
