Thanks for the photos, Oliez. Hmm... if it's a special edition kind of thing, then I don't think it'll be available on newsstands. Ah well. Is the whole issue devoted to Eisley?
At the Phoenix acoustic show there was a whole big stack of those little magazines, everyone got one as they walked in. Eisley definitely had the largest article, but there were other artists in there. My copy's upstairs, but off the top of my head I know there were page-or-so articles on Rooney and Tegan & Sara as well as some general music articles.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the info.

Man, wish they were widely available (read: please scan and share, lol).

yeah there you all go. I'm sorry, but I don't have a scaanner. In most of the pictures they look fake/photoshopped to death.

I guess a package came to my dad's house yesterday. It's too bad I'm 2 1/2 hours away.

Was this the "album release mission"? I signed up for that one yesterday and I hope I get at least one Ragged magazine.

So, I finally received my street team supplies.
I was truly delighted, until, as already mentioned, the posters are giant stickers. What the heck and I supposed to do with giant stickers?
Oh well. The stuff is all pretty rad, I must say.

same thing you would do with normal flyers. I like sticker flyers better than regular ones because it's easier to throw them on walls than when you have to tape them.

Yeah, but are they like uber sticky? Some people might get pissed if they see huge stickers all over walls.

I signed up a few weeks ago.. Alls I got was an e-mail confirming my signing up.... Are my chances of getting materials for missions slim because I live in Canada? >.<

Sign up for Eisley, then join the missions for them.

I got my package a few days back, and now I'm plotting how to best use it.

This is some pretty sweet stuff.

that's the point...well not to get people pissed. I"m just going to stick some around and maybe after they realize it's a sticker and not a taped on flyer they'll not even try to take it off because it'll be too much trouble.

Just wanted to share my little try at promotion: Wink

I went to a concert (the Hush Sound) and armed myself with the stickers. I left the stickers around here and there, but then as a joke suggestion from my friend I stuck it on myself like a name tag.

I felt like a dork, but then I figured who cares. Laughing Plus it paid off when within seconds someone commented and I was able to both get requests for stickers and pass some out that way! Surprised

I felt bad afterwards having a sticker for one band at another's concert, especially when I took pictures with them and all you could see was the Eisley sticker Laughing but I guess that's what you do! Plus at a concert, you know that there's some music fans there so there's more of a chance they will check out a new band if they have never heard of them before!

Anyway just wanted to share Smile
