I don't think it's the best on the album (I think), but I like it a lot. Lyrically, and musically. It's pretty basic, but the organ is a masterful touch. The bit of country is nice, and the lyrics display an excellent narrative. And on top of it all, she reaches a positive resolution instead of just lamenting a situation. It's probably the catchiest song on the album, for sure. Hmm, I'll just do this. My top 10 favorites: 10. I Could Be There For You 9. One Day I Slowly Floated Slowly Away Slowly 8. Just Like We Do 7. They All Surrounded Me 6. Lady of the Wood 5. Come Clean 4. Invasion 3. Golly Sandra 2. Marvelous Things 1. The Escaping Song The top 3 are solid, the rest fluctuate. _________________

Either Many Funerals, Blackened Crown, Marvelous Things, Plenty of Paper, Head Against the Sky, or Dream for Me. I cant decided, but those are my favorite songs. |

From all the songs that have been mentioned it seems like Eisley can already release a rarities CD. Although I would imagine that'll be a little further down the road after they continue to establish themselves. |
