The song is in the key of F. Intro/Verse/Chorus: F - C/E - Dm Pre-chorus: Bbmaj7 - F - C/E - Gm That's all that I can remember off the top of my head. I'll post the bridge when I get home from work and have access to my guitar. _________________ Thistledown |

I think Sherri's part is easier to play than Chauntelle's. Kinda like this as far as I can tell... she plays capo 5 I believe... but basically it is like playing: C (but it's F with the capo of course, like Chauntelle) E minor 5/0 4/2, 3/2, and 2/3 (what is that called? "A" something.) then the same chord but with 2/1, which would be A minor That repeats alot. Then there is this for "Let's give it a try, let's keep it for truth": 4/3, 3/2, 2/1 (F or something right?) then hold 2/3 in that chord and then that F one again. Strumming is difficult to describe, but the song feels like it rocks harder than you originally think... once you actually play it. Don't know if this is helpful but oh well. I'm supposed to be working and so... that's what I end up doing instead, of course. Sorry, I'm pretty ignorant about the names. |

ZenArtist... I don't know what you're referring to exactly, but I will try to get "Just Like We Do" written out in a civil, legible way for people soon... when I don't have something better to do, you know how it is. It's mainly the picking pattern that is challenging to catch, not so much the chords, don't you think? Definitely the bass notes are hard to catch. But it would be really good at weddings and such. |

i remember reading you saying you have a pretty good tab of it, i don't know why you edited that out, as your post clearly says its been edited once. if you're talking about the full just like we do tab at http://64.235.33.126/eth/ I know all about that one. Its missing the chorus. The whole issue with it is that its not a straight 1 2& 3 4& pattern, there is a feel to it, and the chorus is not written out. The issue with that is that the chorus is kind of mixed softly on the record. if someone wants they could use the live recordings and tab that out. |

I tried tabbing out "ICBTFY" on guitar, I think Sherri's part is picking on a Bmin chord, and then that loud bridge part it's a Bmin to a G to an Fmin (I'm not too sure about the F chord) Please correct me if I'm wrong I wish I was a pro at playing guitar. So I could just listen to a song and hear what chords a band is playing immediately. I'm only mediocre at it. I've been wanting to learn a whole bunch of new Eisley songs annndd new Straylight Run songs on guitar and piano but it's so hard to find the music online.... |
