I'm more of a swing voter, I guess. Though I tend to be far more liberal these days ... just not in some very distinct ways. But, for the moment, I want to see Obama in the White House.

Obama ftw. If it's a choice between keeping a man in the Oval Office or having Hilary there, let's just get the best man we can find. Wink

I don't think Obama can win the election. But he might get lucky, run as Hilary's vice president and become president after she gets shot.

I don't like Hilary. Anyone else would be fine. Just not her.

I say Rudy Giuliani all the way! You said no flaming by conservatives but nothing about flaming by canadians who have no say in who wins. Smile

I don't really want him to win.

Guiliani will never get the Republican nomination being pro-abortion (even with his commitments to decrease abortions and appoint strict constructionist judges). And yes, I saw that you don't really want him to win.

shouldn't this be titled "democrats only"? i know that a majority of democrats are liberal, but it really bothers me that the words are used interchangably (same with republican and conservative). i just feel like it makes it seem that if you're a liberal, you automatically agree with everything that the democrats say.

anyway, i have to start watching the debates, because i have no idea who i like.

exactly. candidates from both parties will often become more moderate in order to win when election time comes.

A swing to the left or the right is just for show. I trust a politician more if their position is not malleable with whichever way the political winds may be blowing.
