I remember a while back someone posted about how good Ten Cent Blues is. While I really like every song on Combinations I think this one is starting to become my favorite. I like the countryish vibe and the lyrics. And like with all other Eisley songs it has some beautiful vocals. Eisley is such an awesome band. If they keep it up they could one day be considered one of the greats. |

I think it's my favorite. Speaking of the regular band setup thing: Dear Eisley, Play this in Austin, plz. Hugs, Sara Not that I have any influence over the setlist to speak of. At least I'm sending the vibes? _________________ Blaahg Mahspace Audioscrobbler |

Actually I was under the impression that TCB is one of the tracks that they couldn't replicate in a live setting due to the guest guitarist...although I'm sure Chauntelle could pull off the finger-picking (or more likely combination of flat-picking with middle-finger picking) riff. Has anyone seen them perform this live and electric? Do they use a back-track (a la Golly Sandra, Invasion, Combinations, etc..)or is it all Eisley? By the way, speaking of Combinations (the song), I loved watching Garron play the Marxophone on the acoustic tour...I had always assumed that was a back-track also, but it isn't. I actually got to play with it for a minute backstage...it's really awesome. At first glance I thought it was an autoharp, but it was the Marxophone (which probably was a modified autoharp at its inception)...and I totally have to get one...that is if Richard Gibbs doesn't hog them all on eBay... |

My favourite. The lyrics are gorgeous and I can relate so well to them. _________________ To Write Love On Her Arms the world is poor because her fortune is buried in the sky and all her treasure maps are of the earth. |

Even if it does take them three efforts to get it started... either 'cause Weston goes too fast, or Chauntelle somehow screws up, or they just get confused in general... or if a fan sarcastically tells 'em to get off the stage... _________________ She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the girl from Belfast City, she is courtin' one two three, please won't you tell me who is she?
