i'm seeing several April tour announcements here lately.

i hope the DuPrees don't miss Radiohead, but they may if they're touring at the same time.

I know its still early, but I would like to hear some older songs on this tour. Since Eisley will be headling they can probably fit more songs into their set maybe some pre-Room Noises songs. Smile

I agree, and it probably won't happen, but I would like to hear some songs from the MT or LC ep.

Since it's new to iTunes, I'd love to hear Sun Feet again.

after finally having the chance to hear the newest released version of Sun Feet, i don't know. you've got new, less fantasy oriented lyrics and the tempo is slower, almost like they're on cruise control. this was recorded during the Room Noises sessions, correct? wasn't it around that time where i think the label was pressuring them to tone down some of the more fantasy oriented lyrics, or am i dreaming that? there was some producer they were working with that was changing the song structures, etc. i'm fairly certain.

here's a question - post Room Noises release did Sun Feet live have the new lyrics?

How different were the lyrics? The only part I noticed was the ending lyrics. I like the lyrics that are on the one that was just released.
"Soft sweet music makes me sleep
Calling my mind away, oh
Resting faces, calm and quiet"
Are these the newer lyrics?

Also there've been two recent releases of Sun Feet. The first one was on the live Invasion at Connect Sessions EP and wasn't really the one they meant to release and is slower than the Room Noises era one.

i don't think the earliest version of Sun Feet has 'house' it says 'castle' twice in the first verse. there is a different line instead of "gather timber," too, i believe. didn't the other iTunes Sun Feet that was released that was an accident have the older lyrics? i forget. you get used to live versions of songs i guess. the bass isn't as active as jon played live either and i thought that was great playing on his part.

anyway, i've taken this thread on a minor tangent......someone reel it back in.

but yes to Sun Feet and dig up Queen of Leaves.
(and really improbable.........Lullaby)
is this 2003?

i was thinking here lately - with the beautiful chord changes in Queen of Leaves, what if they reimagined it as a piano ballad?
