Would you like me to e-mail it to you or send it over AIM?

I find it impossible to take Chris' voice seriously in this song.

while you're waiting for it you can listen to it on their myspace..
www.myspace.com/coldplay

i like it. enjoyable.

and as long as we're talking about newly released singles, you can hear Death Cab's (other?) single called Cath. it's the NPR song of the day or whatever.

i like Cath WAAAAAAY better than I Will Possess Your Heart. i really didn't like IWPYH...

I wanted to say, if it wasn't for Coldplay, I probably never would have heard of Eisley. So thank goodness for Coldplay!

they put a stupid 6 hour time limit to download it, so either that time limit had passed or their website was crashing. still didn't get it.

oh well. i imagine a video will surface soon.
if Myspace wasn't blocked at work i'd stream it now.
anyone know of any other sites that are streaming it?

Quote:
Chris-only outro which could have been a bridge before going back to loud instrumentals in the end. Will seems incapable of playing fills.

I'd love to hear more of the lyrics because it seems like they actually tell a story instead of stringing together random words, but they're drowned out for much of the song. Maybe once there's a 320 kbps or CD-quality version I'll be able to pick them out without all that stupid compression.

I really like it. and not just cause they're my favorite.
i like the outro, even if it is very coldplay, and not "different" at all like their aiming to be.

i do agree about the instruments being too loud in some parts-almost like a bad mix at a concert.
but maybe there's gonna be a better one when the release is official?
and i don't like the way his voice sounds uncontrolled in some parts, in the very beginning. like he messed up and they forgot to go back and fix it.

but overall im impressed Smile yay coldplay!

I really hate using the word "meh" to describe a song as it's a bit of a cop-out, but this song brought on some "meh". I only listened to it once however, so I can't say much. I'm not allowed to badmouth Coldplay for a while since they were pretty much my first favorite band ever and they are both directly and indirectly responsible for a bunch of the bands I'm into. I'll give it another spin.

They've had some good songs. And very cool they took Eisley on that big tour in '03.

Hmm I love the outro. . .
I think Chris is at his best when its just him and a piano.
Not to keen on the mess going on throughout the rest of the song.

Oh god no, I didn't mean it that way... more in the way that they were a gateway band.

This could be Embrace, Keane, or Snow Patrol
Thirteen Senses sound like this as well, I'm told
It could be anyone; it's so hard to say
Maybe this is actually Coldplay
'Cause everything sounds like Coldplay now

Sorry, I just can't let a Coldplay thread go by without making a reference to that. And this.
