I shouldn't have even posted a response since I've never even seen them live. But the original post pissed me off with the insult on Sherri and arrogant tone. The last two little paragraphs don't even make sense to me either. I like Coldplay and Snow Patrol is ok, but even I know they're more corporate cookie cutter than Eisley, but maybe he's being sarcastic, I can't tell. Davegahan may have translated what JohnS was trying to say better than me, and also his posts make some really valid points. Ok, people want them to be more passionate, with more banter and crowd interaction. But don't be fake, keep it real. But if you feel bad smile anyway. Talk until someone in the crowd tells you to shut-up and then start playing with a passionate smile. Hah. Make a memo and send it out to the band members. Set up a meeting and we'll hash this out. Make some pie-charts and a computer generated simulation. They need to work harder to be more real and less corporate cookie cutter. By the way, which girl is Eisley again? _________________ we're really not alone, we have each other |

They need to start smashing guitars, drums and amps after they finish their encores. I just can't get into a live show where that doesn't happen. Also, some pyrotechnics and lasers would really hit home on songs like Combinations and If You're Wondering. _________________ |

A laser light show during Invasion with subsequent moshing during A Sight To Behold might please the original poster. _________________ "I shall take the heart," returned the Tin Woodsman; "for brains do not make one happy, and happiness is the best thing in the world." |

I've never seen her do so much on stage...the performance I saw at my 30th show was one of the best I've seen as far as stage presence goes. Yeah! Hot damn was Sherri workin' it. She can get so intense. Watch her hands. Or, her face even. Freakin' intense! The two shows I've seen this tour Sherri's gotten like that. Very into the music and....INTENSE! She was moving all the way to the other side of the stage while rockin' it in IA. She did it a few time. Holy cow! I'm glad Sherri was really gettin' into it! I like it when they all rock out. |

wow! Sherri, the passionless piece of crap here! (kidding, kidding;) Hi dear people! i only scanned that long review AND everyone is entitled to their own opinion (cause as they say "opinions are like @$$holes and everyone's got one!")...but the part's I did read made me laugh! Only because i had a lot of fun at that show!! I really did!! Everyone was so chatty and and it was just a chill show where we talked to the audience a lot and everyone was having a good time!...well, not everyone I guess! It definitely wasn't our BEST show of the tour, by far, and I know we can always do better, ALWAYS, but for this lady, It was a fun show. sorry to bum you out sir, i think you were the only one not having fun though! hopefully the next show does it for you, unless we've disappointed you too much to return! BUT i don't appreciate being called names because I "pushed" my sister offstage. haha I've been picking her up, and carrying her, slapping her butt, whatever, after she sings everynight because it's funny! I promise i wasn't being a (insert choice insult here) at all! i love my sisters more than my own life. i love you guys too! i'm sorry we bummed you out mister mister truly. i hate that someone hated our show that much. that's terrible and hopefully will not happen next time! love, sherri _________________ "Strange I'm skinny when I'm standing but I'm Buddha when I sit" -Say Anything My dumb photos for fun. http://flickr.com/photos/photostoshare1/ A bit of the art... http://www.flickr.com/photos/sherrisink/ Older art... http://img23.photobucket.com/albums/v68/slitgizzard/ArtWork/ |
