Anyone remember what they're called?

I looked at Hobby Lobby today but didn't find anything other than brushes, pencils, and markers Confused

Well in this scan they look sort of like Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph Pens. (I googled)

There's also this scan where there seem to be more than one type.

But I don't really know. Hah.

I got a Rapidograph pen ages ago (2002-ish?), but it seemed to be one that was more for just straight lines and lettering. I was a bit disappointed, until I discovered brush pens. Mmm ... brush pens.

there was this same type of question in 2003 where Sherri replied, "i just use me some nice "bic", man...black ink is prefered."

A pin suggestion was mentioned too

Sherri's drawing style is somewhat similar to mine (hers, however, is much better), and I use Micron pigma inking pens. The size I use varies depending on how detailed I am making things. I usually use somewhere between a .30 mm or .45 mm line width. You can buy these pens at any art/craft store for a dollar and some change.

Sherri;
You should try some of the pens that I mentioned above. I used to use bics, then I tried these, and they are amazing. They draw very easily and they are very full, hand strokes go incredibly smoothly. It's like drawing with butter, but instead of getting your paper all oily and messy, you just have nice drawings on it.

Sherri wrote:
thanks for the pen tip...i shall try them.

brush pens are the best.

Those pens Sherri gets are crazy expensive, but I guess when you have that passion/skill to make what she does (and for what she does it for) it's understandable.

i have those rapidograph pens and i looooove them. they were kinda pricy (i felt crippled after dishing out the cash) but they were worth it. i got a pack of 7 pens and ink for about $100 which isnt bad considering each one by itself would have cost 30 dollars. anyways i have them and they rule. and i would recommend them to anyone who is into drawing with ink. and i think sherri uses them. i could be wrong though....

Those radpidogragh pens look so sweet...the first time i saw Sherri's art i was in awe.....i thought her songs were weird (and i mean that in the best possible way) but her drawings are so...cool is all i can think of because there aren't any words for it...I'm hoping to get some just cause I'm a cronic doodler and those are exactly what i need for the sharp lines in abstract drawings..I see why Sherri brings around with her.

P.S. Micho..those pens you got, do you know how long they last? I would assume it's about the same as other ink pens but thought I'd ask since you're someone who actually has them.

i know she had the pen's pic on her moviescenester profile at one time, but apparently she must have recently deleted her profile.

Crying or Very sad

she was the main reason i visited that site.

as long as you properly take care of the rapidograph pens, they will last you a while (thats mainly why i got them...i would use those micron pens which were awesome but i would run out of ink sooo quickly...and 3 bucks per pen adds up after a while haha). all you have to continually buy is ink....but the catridges you buy are large and typically last a while (and they are cheap! yeahhh!). hope this helps Very Happy

Thanks Micho it does help. I was just trying to find out if the ink was super expensive or depleted quickly, from what you tell me it shouldn't be a big problem so I hope i can get a good deal and get some. Sherri's drawings are just awakening the artist in me...cause if i could learn to draw that well with no real training I'd be very happy. Smile I know she's good and her mind must go in a thousand different directions at once when she draws, so i only hope to be a mere shadowy reflection of her talent..it's just cool art. Very Happy
