Ouch. Something similar happened to one of my fingers a while ago (although not that brutal). Painful.

Weston is probably loving all of the sympathy.

When I saw the other side of his thumb, I thought that his thumbnail fell off or something and that was the space left behind.

So how does he play drums now that his fulcrum is pretty much cut up?

Man, thank you, I have been trying to think of what that was called for days.

I can't even imagine how bad that hurt.

I've always wanted to have kids... and then I hear/see stuff like this and I reconsider! I don't know how I would deal with my kid coming in with a sawed body part. Shocked

As painful as it looks I'm glad that's all that happened. It could have been much worse.. and then how would Weston ever hitchhike?

That jerk D:

Oh man, the first picture looked like it hurt a bit, but the second one...oh man. I would have cried like a little girl if that happened to me. Good thing Weston is a manly man.

Still, I cringe just thinking about that. I mean, the wound almost looks like the fingernail itself. Guh!

A shinny red glove? What about a red leather jacket?

Well, at least you didn't get your whole hand bitten off by a seal.

Of course he is, he's Weston!

Though if that did happen, he could always get a badass hook for a hand! Sure, it would make the whole drumming bit a tad more difficult, but he'd be like a friggin' pirate, which is arguably cooler anyway. He'd just need to borrow one of Sherri's eyepatches and he'd be set!
