I really hated that they totally deleted their Xangas.
Think how many witty, great posts are gone forever.
They probably posted first drafts of songs and posted them on there and no telling what else.

The day Sherri wrote Lost At Sea she posted the lyrics on her xanga. We have her post.. but not the date or time. Mad Confused That would have been cooler, i think. Smile

Golly, Poster

Those Eisley kids have always been good at blogging. Lame about the xanga haters ruining the party.

Crap, I need to make sure my Xanga hasn't been deleted. I have good memories with that thing (embarrassing angsty entries, being investigated by the FBI...).

Anyway, I've started adding Duprees to my facebook friends. Yay?

i signed up to add the band.

is what i see what the public sees?

it's really drab as far as looks go - in comparison to Xanga or Myspace.

i'm guessing you can probably do some crazy stuff to it to jazz it up though - which i don't care to do.

cool.

ok, now i see the earlier comments about long myspace page loads.

i hate that as well (home is still dial up 56k - many a time i have had to just give up on pages) and i really never do much to any of my profiles -

i prefer substance over 'flash' or whatever...

facebook really is pretty drab though - in the visual department anyway.

not even a quote spot?

there's definitely a quote spot, but it won't appear if the person left it blank... that might be why you don't see one

Yes. You go to "Edit" > "Personal" > scroll till you see "Quotes".

Someone keep a tally of who has more friends. Maybe it could cause a rivalry that could fuel new album?

oh, yes, that one.
i meant more like one where you click on someone's profile and see a quote like with myspace.

is there a way to subscribe to a profile so that you get notifications whenever they update?

Oh, then I guess you mean someones "status" and every time you log in it takes you to the home page that shows you everything about everyone.

Hmm...so when I added Sherri and Stacy, I didn't quite realize I'd be getting so many notifications of them adding friends.

Small price to pay I guess.
