oh man i hate my middle name.
but its Yeana
(pronounced Yeh-Nah)
it's korean, my mom made it up.
my dad got to choose my brothers first and middle name, and my first name and my mom decided she reaaaaallly wanted to give me it.
Roughly translated it means something like "jesus is my god" or whatever.
the Yeh is from the Korean word for Jesus, and the Nah is Korean for me.

ironically enough, i'm agnostic, so.. the name really doesn't apply to me.

Anyway, yeah.
Katharine Yeana.

I was lurking when that must have happened. Why'd he get banned? Or is this a non-discussion topic?

My baby brother's name is Gabriel. I LOVE that name!

Please don't take offense, but that is personally one of my least favorite boys names.

My Daddy doesn't like the name either. I don't understand you people. Wink

From what I saw it started out with him defending someone that was getting bashed over a misunderstanding(and possibly other posts of hers that I never read) but then he took that opportunity to go overboard and commit forum suicide.

I think there's this thing where you don't name a child after a family member if they are still alive? Maybe not...

Yes, that's a really strong tradition in other cultures.

Emma Elizabeth, no interesting story there. At least I'm not like my sisters, two of which share the same middle name both with each other and my mom. My friend, however, is Middle Eastern and middle names aren't really something they do there. So, growing up, she felt rather left out and convinced everyone she knew that her middle name was Melanie, just like the Spice Girl.

My middle name is Ellen after my mama Ellen Jean =o)
So I'm Katelynn Ellen but everyone calls me Katy.
I like my middle name but I'm not too crazy about my first name just because it's become so common. My mom wanted to name me Sydney after my grandpa Sidney whom I never met but my dad didn't like it and Katelynn was pretty much the only name they could agree upon =o/
