lazerbith wrote: so is eisley going to make up the entire concert? or are they just performing a few songs? this matters in terms of worthyness of plane ticket. If you read the title of Boyd's I think it explains to a degree "Eisley opens for Symphony in Seattle". All I can tell you is Eisley is going to perform - acoustically - backed by Mateo's orchestra. I don't know how many songs at this point but will let you know asap. Even if it's 3-4 songs, it'll be the experience of a lifetime. Creative meetings are happening to determine all things. http://www.eisley.com/journals/trolleywood/_35207/ |

Yeah, it sucks I have to fly in, but it also makes it that much more of an event. I'm going to see about heading to the art museum and things too, while I'm there. I wasn't really able to pay for it all myself, either, but I chipped in a little and the rest is a Christmas present from my parents (just... a long in advance present). I actually got everything early enough to where my flight wasn't horribly expensive, and I did some research to find the cheapest but best hotel for the couple days I'll be there. It worked out well. I'm extra excited and can't wait for November. |

I'm lucky that it's so close to me. I live in Portland, only about a 3 hour drive, and it's on one of my days off so my friend and I are going to drive up early and hang out in Seattle for a while. I've always wanted to go to Bauhaus Coffee since the DuPree's love it so much, but never have yet even though I've been to Seattle dozens of times, so we're going to check it out. |
