In practice, I feel too sorry for them to get much of a laugh at their expense; I feel even sorrier for people who were skins as adolescents and changed their minds as they grew up, but are stuck with skinhead/neo-n./nationalist symbolism on their skin in conspicuous places. At least gang tattoos don't mean anything in polite company; Its would be awfully hard to explain a swastika on the back of your hand to client who is taking you to the opera. They are pretty much resigned to trading their tattoos in for scar tissue. swastikas are also the symbol of peace in hindi. you know. they always have that to fall onto my friend, whos hindu, has a red swastika painted on her doorway outside her home. except it has two dots in it, which i think are the real symbol. _________________ I used to be Snow White but I drifted -Mae West |

although expensive, it's a great thing that sherri's doing. I'd much rather have a drawing of sherri's for the price she's offering than a song. I just might take advantage of this. I nearly got a tattoo for my 21st, but passed last minute (thankfully (although what I was planning to get is still a huge possibility)). I'd like to see what Sherri can come up with...as soon as I figure out how to explain what I want. |

What does a tattoo cost, and what's more important- a design or the needle work? There is a shop down the street from me (on Henderson in Dallas, for those who know it) called "Art is Art". Its not a high brow place at all. It is this weird combination of antique/junk shop and art gallery, with random pieces from local artists. I doubt you'll find a decent 8X10 original in there for anything like that price very often (multiply by two or three, minimum, maybe). |

I can't wait until I turn 18 so I can go get one myself! I will get some Eisley inspired tattoos for sure. _________________ Kneel before your god Babylon! "I don't wanna touch you and feel so helpless; I don't wanna smell you and lose my senses" Rufus Wainwright, Foolish Love |
