Manchester Orchestra would be good but I'd almost think Right Away, Great Captain! would be a better Eisley feel. As for me, if Eisley could really deal with having constantly drunk tour mates I would suggest The Like.

Otherwise, I still stick to my suggestion of Straylight Run, Boyd. Even if Michelle quit. :\ Maybe even, Michelle's new band Destry, who are still in demoing stages?

But the band's music has nothing to do with the book...

I know I'm once again going for the more obscure, but how about Lost Ocean? http://www.purevolume.com/lostocean
http://www.christianitytoday.com/music/reviews/2007/lostocean.html

They get points for having one of the least ugly MySpace pages I've seen: http://www.myspace.com/lostocean

I like some of the tunes from their first album: http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product/?item_no=CD10720& p=1006648

I'd love to see Eisley with As Tall As Lions and Copeland. And I'd love to see Eisley again with Brighten and Vedera.

Am I the only one who raised eyebrows at this? And I'm not talking about the possibility of a tour.

Golly, Poster

The Submarines
Rosie Thomas
Kim Richey
Diane Cluck
Ariel Abshire
Lucenda Williams
The Cardigans

main reason i haven't seen eisley perform live is i don't care at all for the bands that they choose to open their shows. okay i kinda like mutemath and the myriad has grown on me, but i kind of think it's time for them to perform with women artists, and to perform with artists that aren't 'rock' at all.

but i do think that Copeland is a good choice, too, if they *must*
