i guess you got to ad lib and stand there because i doubt you stop an orchestra and choir on the dot and start over. Actually, it's probably a lot easier for an orchestra or choir to start something over again, because they've been following orders from conductors for years and years. Hopefully the fans tonight won't have to find out what happens, in that sense, yes, but it would be so unexpected and unless Mateo has all the lyrics, etc, memorized i think it would be hard. i think they would just keep going actually. i'm sure they're well rehearsed though. that would be scary to me - just performing not alone, but with so many musicians dependant on what you do. have you ever been to any orchestral or band performance where they just stopped a piece and started over? i don't think i ever have. i don't think i've ever witnessed a big mess up that would require it though. One of them would just have to yell "Woohoo! It's all for charity people!" _________________ we're really not alone, we have each other |

bigideas wrote: have you ever been to any orchestral or band performance where they just stopped a piece and started over? Yup. It happens more frequently at solo recitals or something like that though. If a group like an orchestra starts something over, it's often do a major imbalance (normally rhythmically) between different sections of an ensemble. Obviously, that happened more often when I was a young student musician. It's much less common in the professional world, since most professional musicians are often bored because they are so overqualified, _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! One time, during an orchestra concert, I wish we would have started over. It was our Christmas concert...The First Noel...we were so off that it became an inside joke. If anyone was to say "The First Noel" everyone knew what it was. It was usually used in the context of "Well, we played better better than The First Noel!" I'm so excited to hear about the concert...everyone who went, please share when it's over! _________________ j'ai pas envie d'être un robot, métro boulot dodo -Kelli |

I was about 20 minutes late due to Bellevue traffic. I walked in, there was Eisley and between six and ten people talking to them. The rest of the place was full. Grabbed a hot chocolate, talked to Boyd for a bit then Weston and Garron. The guy working was getting irritated at us because we were "in the way." Got Combinations signed. I dunno...it was just a few people talking. It wasn't a party or anything. There were some other people there with Eisley...some significant others. I think I saw Max but I'm not too familiar with his looks. I've seen like two pictures of him. I'm sure I've thrilled you all with my play by play. _________________ patrock wrote: Grandma: What are you thankful for?

Hahaha nah I loved it. I just don't think it's that good of a story to tell. I love going over to my friend's house to play Rock Band and Halo (albeit not nearly as much) but it's not a story. I had a blast and am really glad that I was there. Now that I read my post I sound like I was forced to go or that it was super boring haha. That wasn't my intent at all. It was a really cool experience. And yeah Boyd was taking a lot of pictures. _________________ patrock wrote: Grandma: What are you thankful for?

I couldn't make it to the concert...I couldn't spare any money unfortunately. I really wish I could be there. Right now everything is going towards food, house, school, and any left over is being saved for an engagement ring. _________________ patrock wrote: Grandma: What are you thankful for?

Should have gotten her two engagement tickets. 2 > 1 _________________ EisleyForever wrote: you're A-list in my heart! MAKECOLDPLAYHISTORY |
