p.s. Is this the first official mention of Eisley 'officially' recording?

Hmm...it might be. At least it's the first time I heard anything about officially recording this month. Hopefully sometime soon we will get an official word and information in Trolleywood. Very Happy

And about the higher price...Yeah, that's a bummer, I was thinking about requesting one. I am still thinking about it, but I wish I would've jumped on the bandwagon sooner. It's understandable though, when you think of pieces people get at galleries and whatnot...and this is an original. Still a unique option that's well worth the money if one can afford it!

Actually, my only issue is to think of what idea I would find special to request! I guess she's not accepting new ones yet, so there's a bit of time. Smile

I think it MUST be the first "official " mention of recording the new album.. that's great news! I don't remember any previous mention of it...
As far as the increase in price for Sherri's amazing drawings ($100), I'd still say that's a real steal for the kind of time and talent that Sherri puts into each drawing! I know we'll definitely be commissioning one when she starts to accept requests again !! Wink

I understand that some people do not value something like this as much, and see the increase in a negative way.
However, she could put up each print on an auction site, and set a minimum, and let people bid on them.
I doubt any of them would go less than her reserve price.
Better to get a guaranteed piece, at a set price, than to get in a bidding war. Smile

I'm going to get one as soon as I can afford it... and as soon as I can think of what I want
I don't think the extra cost is bad at all. They take a lot of time and we can see she's not half-way doing any of them.
and yyyyaaaaay for recording soon! combinations is screaming at me to stop playing it.

PLUS they are made specifically how you want them, which is REALLY awesome. i guess i was just sad because i am broke, that's all. haha don't get me wrong, i still am totally pumped on the idea and $100 really isn't that bad at all. she sounds like she has a lot on her plate right now and it's cool that she is even still doing it.

$100 seems like a pretty sweet deal to me,
especially since they all have looked very good. and incredibly detailed
however for me, personally, $100 is just not something i could do.
alas, such is the way of life.
and i really don't have a specific design i want.
i just would want something cool,
so maybe in the future if she makes prints and theyre cheaper, i'll just go ahead and do that.
hopefully.

Here's my tattoo drawn by Sherri:

It turned out a lot better than I imagined it. All I told her was I wanted a spunky girl with a guitar and maybe boots and carrying Texas under her arm. Sherri added the braids, looovve it.

(Just picture it flipped since Texas is the other way around Smile

I got mine today, too.

I think several people have said you really don't get the detail from the pics like when you actually have it in your hands, but it's very true.

Something hand drawn by a notable person/artist, custom ordered? $100 is still a deal.

Sweet. Isn't the little heart roughly the location of Tyler too?

[Just looked at a map, Tyler is a little farther north but pretty close. Smile ]

Actually, the heart looks like Houston.
