I live there for 7 years and Eisley didn't stop by. Now, when I move to Tyler, they go to Waco. HAHAHA Oh the irony. I might be going. I have class Monday morning, but skipping one day won't kill me Sweeeet. I'm pumped. Baylor Field...do they mean Floyd Casey Stadium? _________________ yep. |

It's really not that bad, at least, Baylor's not. oh, no. I meant that as two separate thoughts. As in, I happened to spend my weekend driving to and from Tyler, which involves Waco, AND that Waco is not my favorite place. |

I want to say I'm like 90% sure I'm going. I've been wanting to take a trip somewhere, my buddy is definitely for it, as evidenced by what he wrote on my facebook wall today (see below), and it'd be really really cool to see Eisley in Texas. Plus it's 3 days after my birthday so it'd be my birthday present to myself. Plus I just happen to have that whole week off from work. It's perfect. It's like a sign, and I can't turn away from it. I'll probably buy plane tickets tomorrow, and then I'll post here and say for sure I'm going. It'll be the 4th state I've seen Eisley in. I'm catching up to you Jamie! (actually not really at all ) my buddy wrote: Seriously???? **** YEAH I'M IN!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!! lol... Yeah! No, you're kidding. Are you kidding??? Hell yeah I'm in!!!! Seriously, I'm totally in!!! I'm not kidding, I'm totally in!!!! EDIT: I really should be sleeping right now because I have to work in less than 7 hours, but instead I'm listening to Eisley and trying to plan my trip. I figured out that if I fly to Austin and get a Greyhound to Waco it'd be about $50 cheaper than flying into Waco. Sounds like the way to go. Gosh I'm excited. EDIT #2: Trip is PLANNED! I just have to buy the plane tickets I have reserved. Only gonna cost ~$315 each for plane tickets, bus tickets from Austin to Waco and back, and motel for 3 nights. I hope to meet some of you! |

April 23rd is Diadeloso, I just realized. Things make a bit more sense now. Diadeloso = Day of the Bear = random Baylor holiday ... tradition since like 1935. When I went there, I don't really remember them having musical entertainment such as this. My senior year, they carted in a ton of fake snow and called it "snow dia." Apparently they've since grown wise about what constitutes actual entertainment. _________________ Facebook & Twitter & Blog(ish)-type thing |

That makes this even easier. _________________ |
