Remember awhile back in one of her posts she suggested that we read The Book of Lost Things by John Connelly. And I think she mentioned it a second time...

I'm trying to debate whether I should buy the book. If it's recommended by Sherri then it MUST be good right??? But some of the book reviews say that the story is kinda scary. One of them described it as a nightmare come to life. Anyone read it? What did you think of it? Think it's worth reading?

But only because you're a huge fan of the magazine that has pictures of scantily clad women in it.

Definitely library, everyone has different tastes in books. Sherri's word isn't law, haha.

I read it twice . . . obviously, I liked it a lot. Alternatively scary and extremely poignant.

A little side note: I went to the Dallas concert last year, and saw one of the T-shirts that Sherri drew called "Sherri-deer," which had a deer with a female head. Well, that seemed to be straight out of The Book of Lost Things (there's someone doing creepy experiments at one point in the book). So I bought the shirt for my wife, and wrote a PM to Sherri to say that I liked the creepy shirt. She responded that she had drawn the picture before she had even read the book!
