I don't want to offend on anyone or insult anyone's faith, but that article is insane. I understand that this was a Christian publication, but the whole thing got silly (Genesis used instead of band history). I guess Im just not familiar with the whole Christian music scene/media outlets. _________________ Hail to the King, baby theufbproject.com |

Yeah, it's a Christian publication, but I doubt that's why they chose that word per se. *shrug* "Genesis" just isn't that odd of a word, honestly, unless you're specifically thinking of the book in the Bible. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

I understand the origin of the word, but I think you are kidding yourself if you think there was no implication or reference in the word. They only refer to God about a hundred times and I am nearly positive that every word in that article was chosen for a reason. It wasn't just about the then MossEisley, they were also pushing Christian rhetoric, the whole Genesis thing being the obvious example. I seriously didn't want to get into this argument and a I hope this thread dies soon. _________________ Hail to the King, baby theufbproject.com |

Awesome article! I think sometimes this is how some of us still see them! I love the part about kim and boyd! you know they are awesome parents by the way their children praise them. It is also cool to me that this is an article including Jon. When I first really came to know the duprees/moss eisley jon was not the bassist... I am really glad I got to know him though great guy! the cranberries thing is cool to I remember bringing home my first mosseisley cd and my mom walking into the room saying I didn't know the cranberries has a new cd out, man they sound great, they get better every year, it was then that I educated my mom, she love eisley to. _________________ Gavin Rocks ask and it will be given... seek and you're sure to find... knock and the door will be open... http://www.eisley.com/Dianda%20wMoss.jpg |
