And 192 Days is horrible, imo. I hope it stays a GB demo. Boyd said in comments on his last post that 192 Days is def. on the album. |

192 Days is great, (especially since I've actually heard it more fleshed out). And The Valley is probably one of my top 2 or so favorite Eisley songs. Too bad Away We Go is still messed up. Oh well, demos are loved until people actually pay for them, I guess? Pretty much, The Valley alone is worth the price of admission. Purchasing it again at the show! _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

So glad those sites were wrong! I got them! All but Away We Go because I want to wait for them to fix it... Ambulance is so incredible. And I'm loving the Valley too. And the sweet cheesy cutesy stylings of 192 Days is very endearing. _________________ Previously user holland, 2005. Bought it. And... WOW. The Valley is already a favorite of mine! HOLY FREAKING CRAP. The chorus just has this ambient, sonic force about it. I can't put it into words how amazing I think it is and how it affects my gut. Ambulance is also awesome! I'm really, really stoked about the album coming up. I'm more excited about it than I was for Combinations. _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. From Boyd's journal: Quote: Digital Blunder means: we all heard the Amazon preview of the Fire Kite ep. One of the song clips was jacked... Sped up; talking Chipmonk speed. I emailed wb last week about it... Never heard back. A knowledgeable fan said this was common w/ Amazon and not to worry. I was wrong not to worry.
It's now for sale in iTunes and Amazon that way. !@&?!#%! I emailed WB just moments ago (angry-angry) from the road (iPhone) and got back responses with tons of cc's who are "on it". Meanwhile Alvin and Theadore are alive on line. AhaahhHHH!!! If I don't get a solution soon, I'm just going to put a link up on this page and give it away. We are on the road so I have no FTP access right now. Getting close to El Paso... Destination Las Cruces. Will keep you posted on this massive digital blunder. Apologies. Otherwise, hope you are enjoying the other tunes. Thanks. boyd P.s. I am furious. _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. LOVE Ambulance. It is lyrically and instrumentally a huge step for them. Also, The Valley freaking rocks. Love the break in the first verse with them harmonizing and where the sweet drumbeat kicks in. And I don't know what you guys are talking about with 192 Days. I absolutely love it. I wasn't convinced with it until it got to the second chorus and then the bridge hit and I was hooked. I love the harmonies on that song. It's so oldschool. I can't wait to hear it on the album. I love the little add-ins on the last chorus. From the bridge to the end of the song is the best part hands down. _________________ cynlovescandy wrote: kulvir wrote: I bet R. thoughts: -i LOVE when stacy brings in her high singin voice. gorgeous. -ambulance stole the whole show. genius song. passionate. i felt all the emotions. pain. anger. confusion. heartbreak. loved it. -the valley was much too 'mainstream' for me. something i could see as a tv show intro spot. can see many people liking it. not so much me. i will say i loved the little soft breakdown part...again.when stacy sings high. - eagerly waiting to hear sherri's real demo. i enjoyed the preview even with chipmunks. |

I just don't want to have to repurchase the song to get the right version. Having personally dealt with iTunes before (though I'm no WB), I wouldn't hold my breath on that one... Especially considering WB is clearly at fault here. Debating whether or not to buy the two complete songs or wait until the Dallas show and get it with the Max cover. _________________ EvilSpace |

A couple posts up, I declared I already bought it. _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. i'm impressed. personally, i think the valley and ambulance are both experimental pieces that we haven't seen before by eisley in the past. i like 192 days, i hear potential of it being an amazing song. _________________ Oneironaut http://www.facebook.com/ChengBand |
