Hey. I decided just to use the old sturdy "announcement" category to comunicate updates on this Festival. I do have quite an ear-full - (these are words...no pictures). We changed hotels (not our doing...label/management) and let me tell you....it's almost too ritzy for our everyday, american blood. I'll spare you the visual journey. Anyway, we're in Indian Springs - not too far from Festival. Stressful day....had family members that couldn't get passes because of screw up. (grrrrr) Luckily we got whisked in to the artist area with a line up of trailers with those silly stars just above the name of the band.

We're back to the hotel after a grueling day of being in the sun, eating food that cost WAY better than it tastes. -Eisley has their big debut show tomorrow at Coachella at 1:00 pm....(we get to get there at 10:30am) which should be fun...(scary?) omgosh...I'm just now looking at list of interviews set up for tomorrow after their show:

Teen People, MJI, Denver Post, ABC News Radio, MTV.com, Rolling Stone (3rd interview), Dallas Observer, Billboard.com ?!@#!$? We?re not sure what?s happening. We're not changing...it's the world around us; always remember that.

Anyway....her are my hackneyed, shot out of a loaded sawed off shotgun:

The Hives rocked, but the ?we?re amazing? shtick actually raised the question in my head...?is it really true??. Good thing we stayed for the Blue guys...I had almost forgotten what skill meant. Queen for a Stones Age was like a misguided Chili Peppers meets the Doors....favorite thing at the festival so far: a living art display where robot tractors shot flames and chewed up a telephone booth. (my faith in art was restored tonight)

Tomorrow should be interesting. I'm dead tired...everyone else is dead asleep. I alone am left to hold the communication line open with my torch and my Titanium. But I'm fading fast. It's 3:41am texas time.

Boyd
