Oh my goodness, you guys are so funny. I love you. I'm very sorry to disappoint anyone who thinks I would actually have the smarts to learn another language (and it's very flattering) but the voice is just me laughing (yes with my southern accent) and saying "aw yeah good job" in English. xo sherri _________________ "Strange I'm skinny when I'm standing but I'm Buddha when I sit" -Say Anything My dumb photos for fun. http://flickr.com/photos/photostoshare1/ A bit of the art... http://www.flickr.com/photos/sherrisink/ Older art... http://img23.photobucket.com/albums/v68/slitgizzard/ArtWork/ |

xo sherri dang well then i must say, you should considering learning mandarin cause it seriously sounds like you're saying "aw yea, the song is really well written." the accents and tones are right on. me and my mom both think so, and she says you have a mainland china accent. a lady i work with at the music venue i volunteer at said she was positive it was an asian accent too. _________________ Oneironaut http://www.facebook.com/ChengBand |

Yes, thanks to Sherri for resolving. What with Twitter it's been awhile, doesn't she realize she's only 5 posts away from Golly Poster status?? _________________ http://www.twitter.com/drstrangeblog http://www.last.fm/user/getinline I can't find the time to write my mind the way I want it to read. |

That's definitely Sherri saying "Aw, yeah good jo-ob!" kind of giggling in the middle of the word "job." You can hear everyone else agree with "yeahs." I thought anyone who listened to that song in the right atmosphere (headphones, in a car, whatever) heard that. I guess growing up speaking another language would increase the instance of hearing things that sound like a certain language but are not. Anyone can tell that's Sherri's sweet but high-pitched speaking voice. Go watch some interviews in the band where Sherri is laughing/speaking in a similar way. I wonder that Sherri is going to think about this confusion, haha. She'll probably get a kick out of it. My mom always told me Eisley had an oriental sound when I played certain songs off Room Noises. I just told her she was crazy... That's always what I've heard, and I was always sure it was Sherri... Trolleywood = one of my favorite songs ...EVER _________________ Dan and daughter, Samantha - We Love Eisley! |

I'll always remember how cool it was to hear Sherri talking at the end of Trolly Wood! It's like you hear the songs but you don't know anything about the band itself, but that gave me an inkling of who they were, and it just fit perfectly! That was so long ago now, but I still remember how thrilling it was! _________________ Mike=] |
