What I wanna know is, if we started a campaign for Eisley to be invited, would it be pointless because of scheduling etc???

I wouldn't say so. Every now and again a band pulls out of a line up; that's basically how Siouxsie and the Banshees got started.

well, on the page it says "(so far)" so my thought wouldn't be that Lillith wouldn't invite them, but that they would reject the invitation for any number of reasons.

Since they will be scheduling their own headlining tour, and promoting their own record, and I don't know what the payout for Lillith is for non-headlining acts, it might be better for Eisley to concentrate on their own audience and generate some revenue and core support. I don't know, but if I mull it over there are always good reasons to say no as a far as music business deals go.

For all we know, they passed up the invite because they didn't want to be affiliated with it.

One way or another, I hope very much I'll be able to go to the Portland stop. Most of the female artists I like and respect are in the lineup. Chyeaaaa.

Confused For all we know, they passed up the invite because they're busy raising sparkling purple dragons in the back yard. Speculation is pointless. Until the band makes an official statement, there's no harm in keeping our fingers crossed and/or encouraging Eisley to pursue a spot in the lineup. It's a high-profile festival, it could mean great things for Eisley, and at least one band they've worked with in the past is already involved.

I moved here 3 weeks ago to go to PNCA.
I love it so far, still getting the hang of things though!

Awesome! You'll love it here, especially in the spring when the weather gets better, haha. I dated a girl who was going to PNCA a couple years ago and I know a few people going there still (do you by any chance know a Heather Herbig or Chelsey Thornton?). Let me know if you have any questions about this city!

Please define this term. All I can come up with is that you only listen to music by women, and I don't believe that at all.

Haha, I can't imagine why you would ever do this.
