I was thinking Saddle Creek, don't know enough about Bella Union... besides Midlake. but part of me wants to think it's a Indie with a major label distribution deal, so who knows??? _________________ yup, that's my name. i could see team love, seems like a good fit in terms of the other artists on the label and they theoretically have a connection there since stacy and sherri sang on a bright eyes album for some reason i'm also thinking say anything's former home doghouse records _________________ dave or a reasonable facsimile thereof |

If it's Saddle Creek, or Team Love, I will freak my freak. In a good way, that is. _________________ You can't find love; you have to create it. Flickr |

Trolleywood Records you say how long does it take you to load their site??? Looking at the current mix of Artists: Jonas's, Lovato, Gomez, Duff vs. Breaking Benjamin, Plain White Ts, Grace Potter, Atreyu, Queen... Eisley actually makes sense in that it doesn't because they don't. As long as they due Eisley justice, I'm content whoever the label is. A part of me thinks http://frenchkissrecords.com/bands/ wouldn't be a bad fit. Local Natives had gotten a ton of exposure in the circles I follow press wise, and flourished creatively, toured the world-round from being just a CA (california) indie band with one vid to a 3 year build up to last years Gorilla Manor. http://www.matadorrecords.com/ makes sense looking at Eisley as they were... http://www.onelittleindian-us.com/new/ is perhaps too low key, though they have a couple of touted acts... _________________ yup, that's my name. well, Matador, while an "indie," is not a small label, as has been hinted; it has large resources. i don't see it as being the place for Eisley. same with Frenchkiss. Team Love seems much more a fit, as does Asthmatic Kitty. One Little Indian? intriguing...but I hope not...other than Bjork, they don't have a good track record with how their bands are treated... _________________ "Die Sonne scheint noch" -- Sophie Scholl <3 <3 <3 |

But they know what they're doing, and they do have a pretty varied lineup, like you said. I'm a really big fan of a few of their acts. Matador helped put out so much great music in the 90's. Maybe TeenBeat would have room for Eisley. |
