she mentioned covering Kanye's Heartless. i would think that would have to be released free or they would owe royalties to Kanye.

it would be an appropriate given the theme of the album & it would be worth paying dividends if it can pull in some new fans or even merit a tweet from Ye.

I love Kanye, so any sort of cover would be tres cool!

I wonder if it's just a Sherri cover or if it's a full band endeavor?

It's a couple years old, so I don't see how it would come up unless she was serious. Max said something about liking Kanye's new one recently. It will be weird hearing that one verse where he ends most lines with "yo" as sung by Sherri.

Change the "yo" to "oh" and they're set. Wink

I think Justin Bieber did a Heartless acoustic cover - any confirms/denies?

Cannot confirm or deny. However, I vote Eisley cover the Biebs.

totally just kidding. I'd rather Kesha join Eisley than have the band cover Bieber.

Is this referring to their tendancy to have wordless vocal spots in their songs? "Ah" is also common.

"Whoa" and "No", as well.

I'm late to the party, but I like the cover and want the album in a bad way.

I hate Kanye's "Heartless" but have thoroughly enjoyed a handful of covers of it. I approve of them covering it as I'm sure it would be something new and different.
