This guy is all I've been able to listen to for a while.
After getting the new album, I revisited Pig Lib and love it, too. I couldn't get into it like I did with his third album, Face the Truth, but man, when his stuff clicks, it reeeeeeeaaaaaaallllllyyyyyyyy clicks!

I think his whole new record is up on Myspace:

www.myspace.com/stephenmalkmus

my first two favs of the record were:
Out of Reaches
Dragonfly Pie

then i couldn't stop listening to:
Gardenia
Elmo Delmo

this record has longer, jammier songs than the previous 3 solo records, so if that's not your thing don't give up listening to his other stuff. i find this record is a little long. i like all the songs, but don't really want to listen to them all together.

Forgot I made this post.
Here is the follow up.
This album is slightly shorter with more shorter songs packed in.
I streamed this while surfing and doing other things, so I can't say too much about it yet.

Screaming/crying.

I was listening to Senator the other day and thinking about how I didn't want to wait 'til the 23rd. Sometimes I forget what generation we live in.

I've been listening to this quite a bit over the past few days, and I think it's my favorite post-Pavement release of Malky's yet. ...Probably because it is so evocative of Pavement at points. The production is also great; reminds me of Sea Change. That said, I tend to follow up every solo/Jicks listen with something by Pavement. Pavement will always be canon to me, as will...Wowee Zowee, probably.

I also think there's some jams on it that archetypal Eisley fans would like!

No One Is (As I Are Be)

I enjoy this video. I could see where someone not familiar would stop before the first minute since his voice is shaky and bare, but then they would be robbing themselves the opportunity to hear it evolve.

and another video for Tigers:

Yeah, I liked it, as well.

This is still my favorite video to watch when I'm feeling depressed, though.

Also, I think the chorus for Tigers is really annoying. It ruins an otherwise good song.
