the Duprees were firing on all cylinders in 2012!

They aren't letting up this year or next year either. This is now the new normal, and I like it.

hear the track here:

That'd be nice but if not that's ok.

Pretty! And Colin's getting pretty good at that guitar -- can hear the John Mayer influence! Very Happy

iTunes as the ONLY place to get music is horrible.

Buying on Amazon means I get a high bit rate Mp3 download AND the song appears in my Cloud Drive. I love their service.

This is seriously so sweet in so many ways. Just a cute lil' brother/sister duo writing some good tunes and being friends.

I wish my little (who is actually quite big) brother would get all musical on me so we could do this kinda thing.

Love it.

HEART ATTACK. Sucre is about the best thing i've ever heard. This Christie sample is beautiful and catchy, but not on that life changing/hurt your heart level of Sucre. But to each their own.

I think they, the entire musical extended family of bands, intentionally or not, have reached out to all corners of their audience. We now have Eisley exploring dense, "experimental" and raw sounds, Sucre pushing the envelope of what can be done with orchestration and classic wall of sound pop, and Merriment providing some blissful folk rock. Andy Freeman's mention of Wildflowers as his favorite recording bodes well for their EP!

At one point Eisley was the vehicle for all of that. Now they can specialize if they like. The other interesting thing that can, though it may not necessarily happen, is they can write for each other and pitch songs to each others' projects if they feel a songs would work really well as performed by Eisley/Sucre/Merriment. It's a nice option to have.

In a scenario like that, for example, the song Combinations might have seemed like a good fit for Sucre as we know them to be. 10 Cent Blues might have been a good fit for Merriment. This is not to say that certain signature Eisley songs are less Eisley somehow. I'm more of the mind that of all the B-sides and unreleased songs we know of, with more vehicles for different types of material, are more likely to find a home on a proper release with a project suiting them because there's a wider field of distribution with three bands.

Agreed, and just as melodramatically. But I do really like it. It's really pleasant pop rock, none of that kitschy/annoying stuff. Not sure I'd place it above Deep Space, though.

Haha. Trying to find one that isn't massive but I guess resizing it in photobucket doesn't make a difference so I guess I'm just gonna give up lol.
