Re: lyrics: Nope, no lyrics with the cd. Also, Oli, i have a sansa clip too, their eq'ing and gain boost have limitations but they are solid enough. what bt rate are you mp3s? On mine the dofference between my usual 320mb mp3s and the standard 192s is super dramatic, let alone compared to listening to an actual lossless cd, which is how i listened to the EP. Same for Merriment and all the Eisley stuff. It really does make a big difference. Larose Guitars: thanks for clarifying. I sort of assumed Kappa### aka Mark engineered/ and at the least assisted recording. Now i know. _________________ yup, that's my name. Oh cool. I didn't know amazon upped it. Last downloads i got from them were VBR and capped at 256, and that was at the end of May. _________________ yup, that's my name. Damn you're right. Maybe I'm confusing Amazon with some mp3s I got from Noisetrade Noisetrade might give the artists more control over bitrate. I am fond of bandcamp because of all the formats they provide as DL choices at no extra cost. With the inclusion of ALAC it's a lot easier for me to burn a cd that sounds good or convert to higher bitrate MP3s. FLAC was my go to initially, but i only wanted them for purposes of burning cd quality cds, or as close as i coukd get. i only use my sansa clip for long road trips or yardwork, so my mp3s are only for things i don't have any other means to play portably ( cd in car ). I'm contrary, i know, i know... _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. This is definitely going to be one that will have to grow on me. I do like what I'm hearing, but its just not instantly catchy and that kind of thing. Different than what I expected, but not in a bad way and it kind of makes me happy to know that she has been writing and exploring musically even when we weren't able to hear it (I guess I didn't doubt it, but the exploring part has me kind of excited for her for some reason). I definitely like that her lyrics are so personal. _________________ my flickr |
