Came across this article when checking to see if there had been any coverage of the anniversary of its release. It's been a beast of year (for me they span school years instead of calendar years) so the actual release date slipped by me, which parallels what happened when Room Noises initially came out. I'd lost track of the progress on the recording of the album after being introduced to the band in Fall of 2003, and visiting the forum for updates the following year. My GF at the time came across the album at Hastings at some point in 05' and bought it, and that was when I got to hear it, and picked it up myself, only to fade back out of awareness for another three years... when I resurfaced and joined this forum as part of the capstone experience in life transitions. Anyways, the article https://tinnitist.com/2025/07/01/classic-album-review-eisley-room-nois es/#google_vignette _________________ yup, that's my name. I don't know about classic rock. There's uptick in Shoegazey rock lately that's a throwback to early 90s mixed with early 00s and they call it a revival but not retro or classic. Seems time finally caught up with what we through was futuristic music at its inception. And Photobucket hits me up too. Buuuuut they pitch to advertisers using their number of registered users and traffic, so I doubt they will ever purge their rolls or scrub our files since the embeds count as traffic. _________________ yup, that's my name. Did anyone from the band acknowledge the 20th aniversary at all? I don't know if Boyd still runs their pages or not. It would be cool if someone posted now and then to show anniversaries of release dates, etc. It would keep the band out there and may draw new listeners and streaming revenue with very little work I would think. I have gone on a major Eisley binge as of late, so I have been wondering if Chauntelle, Stacy, Sherri, Weston and Garron will ever play together on stage again? The early YouTube videos are mostly low quality. It would be great if some of that could be updated to HD. The New Year 2007 video is a lot of fun. They also have a back catalog of unreleased songs and alternate versions of songs. I don't know if those are owned by record labels, but if they have no plans to record the songs at a later date, I'm sure lots of people would love to hear them. _________________ I am Torgo.
