No words can ever express how much it has meant to me, to have people from all over this world thinking of me, and praying for me during this most difficult time in my life, and certainly it has had an affect on those 4 people in a band called EISLEY, and my wonderful husband who has had to be separated from me during most of this ordeal. I look back on all the days of experiencing chest pain that I thought was due to something else, not wanting to believe that it was heart problems, and I don't know why I am sitting here today. For me, I choose to give credit to my maker. I believe that He has held me, and kept me, and protected me from death. I am so thankful, and words are so cheap, but I cannot describe how many times I have sat here reading your posts of encouragement, (not personally knowing so many of you), and tears would roll down my face, experiencing the love I have felt from you all. I lost my father at age 47, so I could not bear the thought of not being around to see the wonderful things that all of my kid's will be doing in the future, and my grandkid's. All I can say is, "THANK YOU" for your love, support, kind words, and prayers, and "THANK YOU, GOD", for finding some reason to spare my life at this time I still have a bit of a recovery road to walk down, and there are some things that I have to watch out for over this next six months. They are still worried about the anemia, and are watching it very closely with the fact that I am now on blood thinner's,but hopefully, I will survive all of that, and then be back in the saddle. I love you, my family....and all of you boardie's my EISLEY family! I put this in EISLEYBLOG, because that is where so many of you have posted, and I didn't want you to miss my heartfelt thanks to all of you EISLEY fans that have shown your love and support for the DuPree part of EISLEY. We all love you so much! Thanks! k |

it definitely makes me feel great to hear from you, kim. when i heard from boyd's post that you were going to be alright i was so relieved! i was away when you notified us of your illness and when i came back i was so worried. the past couple of weeks you have been in the back of my mind and i've prayed in church and at home for you. earlier today i made sure to thank god for answering ALL of our prayers for you. |

Kim, Like BNROCKS said, it's awesome to see you up and posting again! About a year and a half ago, my uncle suffered a severe stroke, and within hours I had requested prayers from hundreds of people across the world through the internet. Not only did he survive, but he's almost 100% back to normal now, coming back from a near-fatal event. I feel that same power of prayer can be seen here, as it's amazing to know that so many complete strangers can band together and petition God for healing. From the little that I know about you from what I've read here, I can tell that God definitely has his place for you bringing up your wonderful family, and he obviously didn't think it was time yet for you to leave. Here's to a smooth recovery! Ben |

I don't post here much, but I've been a member for a while. I come everyday, and although I haven't actually spoken one on one with you all, I do feel as if I know you well. Just by reading your daily posts and such... Kim, I'm very relieved that youre doing better. up until last year I wasn't the praying type, but something happend that completely changed me. I'm a better person because of it, now I competely believe in the power of prayer and the miriacles it works. Experiences likes these happen for reasons. This well definitely bring Eisley together more as a band, and even more so, as a family. I hope everything goes smoothly from here on out. I'll continue to pray for you. Stay safe and remember, we're here for you. -rivers |

Somehow I got really happy reading that. Even though I'm an atheist (yes, all that God stuff usually puts me off) I can understand what Kim's telling us. Yes, I, like everyone else, is really happy that Kim is doing fine. She's probably one of the most kind-hearted people that I know of. _________________ Still titled as the first swedish fan |
