I just picked up the new ep too, from Virgin in Grapevine Mills. I was so happy to finally get a copy of Tree Tops and I Wasn't Prepared, it brought tears to my eyes to hear them. I guess little Eisley is about to not be so little anymore. At least I can say I was here in the beginnings. |

crazy! I went to the best buy near my apartment and no dice, and then Jupiter Records on 41st, and then Tower by campus, and finally I found it at some little record store I'd never been in called 33 Degrees. Lots more driving than I had planned to do, but at least now it's in my possession. At least I spread all that out over the other things I had to do today. Cheers, everyone! |

I got it this morning, and it's pretty good. But why the lyrical changes in "Telescope Eyes"? It wasn't like that on ep-2. And I'm debating whether or not I like the recording style of the early eps or the new one...Kinda hard. the early ones had a very nice, slurred, lo-fi sound to them that added to the dreamy texture of the music. This one's a little more clear. |

I can't believe that in Tyler, TX their hometown, we only had 23 copies total sent! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? Not at Best Buy, or Target, or Walmart....NO. Hastings had 11, (now gone), and FYE in the mall had 12. Last time I checked they had about 6 copies left. I don't get it. The band's hometown, and 23 CD's? |

after reading kim's post, i called up FYE. they said the EP has been selling like hotcakes and that they're going to try and get a lot more in tomorrow/tomorrrow evening. anywho, this was 8:15. i live in Gilmer, so i told them to hold it for me. i get there about 9:07 and the janitor guy is like, "sorry. you're just a couple of minutes late. this seems like the kind of thing that would happen to me." funny thing is - he looked just like Mike White. this is the guy who wrote and played the Christian security guard in The Good Girl. anywho.....even though i went all that way and came up empty handed......something better happened. i remembered i got a ticket 2 weeks ago and tomorrow is the last day to do something about it before they send a warrant for my arrest!!! so, i'm glad i failed after all. _________________ I am Torgo.
