okay...pardon if i'm brief but i'm at a loss for words...i had my operation today. it restored about 40% of my hearing. 9:30am-say a prayer, go to preop. 10:30isham-lose conciousness. thank you anesthesia. 2:56pm-i woke up to marvelous things...i was like paralyzed. i couldn't do anything but breathe and listen. my two best friends in the world were beside me. we listened to eisley together. 3:15pm-friends must leave. i'm still here at the jolly good hospital for another day-ish. =P they must keep me for observation...i guess to see that i dont develop a raging infection of the ear and die on the spot.. i am unhappy about that. but i will leave here at noonish. that gives me a half day at school. i'm a bit scared. that's all i feel i can type..they are letting me have starbucks. that makes me happy. i haven't let them turn room noises off since i woke up. i can't stop listening. the idea of once again not having music in my life even for an hour terrifies me. maybe i'm being irrational...more later i promise. |

Aww. That's incredible. That's awesome. I'm so glad it's going well. Just take every thing you hear as the blessing it is. And hopefully this will last long into your future. Here's to getting to listen to music! (Especially Eisley.) _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

This is pretty much the greatest thing I've ever read What did you think of Room Noises? _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice. I know it may not show on the color of my skin, but I know it’s in my heart and in my soul. –Sara Quin |

What cool friends you have to sit by your side and play Eisley when you woke up. Thanks for sharing this! _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |
