I really like this..... cause it's like listening to some newly discovered old eisley music.... haha Her voice reminds me sooo much of Stacy's younger voice _________________ Julie Do you believe in something beautiful? no my mom and brother were so sure it was a song i would blast in my basement from the computer over and over again but alas i lack th epower to tap into their minds. plus my brother has the retaining power of a gnat. seriously he remembers things in a way that they never happened. but i trust my mom more. _________________ Say something witty, dammit! http://kimschaefer.bandcamp.com/ http://youtube.com/kimschaefermusic |

ok i just took a listen to minipop. jesus the singer does sound like a young stacy! it could have definitely been them but then again i dont know i wasn't in the car. it would make me happier if it was eisley on the radio because they'd finally be getting the recognition they deserve. _________________ Say something witty, dammit! http://kimschaefer.bandcamp.com/ http://youtube.com/kimschaefermusic |

Since they know they sound like Eisley, and since they are doing a few shows with Midlake (a connection to Eisley)... they should open for Eisley on their headlining tour. And Midlake should as well. Yep, that would be a good show- Minipop, Midlake, and Eisley. Also I just found out the keyboardist from Minipop used to post on this forum. _________________ I know how I was born and I know that I have no choice. That's big news to ME. I've never heard Eisley on radio before. I have, however, seen their video in a department store. I'm sure they're played on college radio, sure. But that's different from regular mainstream radio. I've requested them before, but I don't think they ever played it. 93.1 the zone said they would review them to see if they were "the zone material." Oh well. that's just as well. They're not exactly mainstream. That's what attracted me to them in the first place. |

apparently my brother is more of an idiot than i thought. or at least a total music idiot. apparently my mom didn't remember hearing eisley at all and my brother confused regina spektor (wtf?!?) with eisley. i guess he got confused because i play both of those on my computer frequently. so that solves that murder mystery. _________________ Say something witty, dammit! http://kimschaefer.bandcamp.com/ http://youtube.com/kimschaefermusic |

well, eisley will never be played on one of our radios here, but I was very surprised to hear sufjan stevens and regina spektor. Muse is played often, but they are already very well known here. _________________ I'm german so...don't wonder about my english http://www.myspace.com/danigoerzen |

I'll have to listen more. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |
