As a former B&N employee, I AGREE. I was so thrilled to play Room Noises, only one meanhead manager didn't really jones for it, everyone else I think liked it. And yes, B&N has to play a lot of crap. I don't know who makes the selections for in-store play CDs, but I want that job so I can choose good stuff. _________________ the thrill of Hope... the weary world rejoices. |

maybe even sigur ros. but i havent given a lot of thought to that. we play Decemberists at starbucks, we used to play them a lot more, but now that we're not selling their album we don't play them as much. i'd be so incredibly happy if we started playing eisley. seriously. |

I think I got them to play Combinations four times during my last shift, on Sunday I guess it was. It makes my shift so much better. _________________ "I shall take the heart," returned the Tin Woodsman; "for brains do not make one happy, and happiness is the best thing in the world." |

I walked in one day last week and stopped dead in my tracks when I heard Ten Cent Blues! I walked around browsing and lip synching like a doofus until the cd was done playing. Then I enjoyed my starbucks and a magazine. _________________ ..."I'm in love with illusions, so saw me in half"... |

I work tomorrow, and hopefully I'll get them to play it then too. People constantly ask me, "What did we just listen to?" and such when I'm at the registers checking them out. It's nice I can finally tell them what it is and that it's actually good. _________________ "I shall take the heart," returned the Tin Woodsman; "for brains do not make one happy, and happiness is the best thing in the world." |

yea so my sister, who lives in boston, texted me today and was like "eisley is playing in barnes and noble" and at first i was kind of confused, cause i thought it meant like performing in person, so i got all excited. a bit silly of me, it was. then i realized it was just there song. it was sad. but cool she recognized them, because she claims not to like them too much. i just needed to share that. and it seems barnes and noble really loves eisley! _________________ melanie |
