@ boone Very eloquently said, but it's naive not see the sexual deluge that permeates our culture. One needs only look here. Apparently it's fine to "rate" women, as long as they aren't underage. Ask Men wrote: But both lose a few points for their somewhat self-conscious attitudes -- after all, confidence is a big part of sexiness. Who are they to judge anything? And yet, we're all guilty of it, at least to some degree. I mean, it certainly doesn't hurt that the female (and, I assume, male) members of Eisley are attractive. I don't think there's anything wrong to appreciate beauty, whether it be physical, vocal, or lyrical. What is wrong is, as John Nolan basically said, the dehumanization ("rock-starmorphosis") of anyone: male, female, underage or not. The context of that statement, which you can probably dig up, is the real issue here. |

The context of that statement, which you can probably dig up, is the real issue here. I'm certainly not ignorant of the fact that this has become a defining attribute of our gender (men are pigs gigglechortlesnortle), and I'm certainly not claiming that I haven't fallen prey to this type of attitude, just commenting that it's sad that in general, men are known for having no self control. Just to face facts, men are very physically amorous by default, from Larry Flynt to Andy Griffith. But when you let that attitude run out of control, it causes problems. And it leads to horrific incidents, like women being taken advantage of during national disasters and people wasting their time making a countdown to somebody's eighteenth birthday. These men are Law & Order: SVU episodes waiting to happen. What we need are more positive male role models. When your idea of a positive role model is a basketball player that was acquitted at his rape trial, then there's an issue. We need men in the media to aspire to, that are tough, descicive, with good leadership skills, but gentlemen. If you really wanted to be like these role models, then you'd need to stop being a basement dwelling troglodyte porn addict. Of course, strong father figures may factor in as well. We just need more Gregory Pecks in this world. Thanks for the compliment. I'm quite an eloquent person. Heh. _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog .. Facebook |

Eek. I think that site is a countdown until the day when creepy old guys will stop feeling guilty about their sexual thoughts about minors, because they will no longer be minors. I doubt any of them seriously think they have a chance with any of those girls... _________________ ![]() |

that site is so first semester college. in fact, i bet some 20 year old runs it. i remember people making those at school as a joke. if i remember right the olson twins one was the first. i can't believe someone actually went through the trouble of registering a domain and gathering all those names and bdays. someone needs to be studying instead of working on a stupid website methinks. EDIT: the whois database lists admin@imlegal.com as the tech, admin, and billing contact email address. if you want to drop a line, that will probably get it to the person in charge of the site someone claim the photo as copyrighted (boyd, kim, sherri i'm looking in yall's direction) and have it taken down _________________ "Religions have started on lesser revelations" - investor on MarketWatch.com |

this is not weird, this is perfectly normal the guy counting down to Hermione Granger's 18th (not the actress...the fictional character) is really weird. for some reason as boone pointed out, there are folks out there that feel some moral opposition to fantasising about under age girls...those people are stupid, and they like to play little games like the countdown game. _________________ welcome to the no pants club boone |

Point-of-fact: the age of consent is actually 17 in America (or most of America, at least). Maybe they have their fingers crossed for something else, that does require you to be 18. Some artistic photography, mayhaps? I'm making way too much consideration for this... _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog .. Facebook |
