Just had to say that Eisley rocked last night here in Calgary. I didn't even know they were going to play as one of the opening acts so it was a nice surpise. Loved their style of music... kind of a mix between The Cardigans and the Cranberries... if I may say so... and that's a good thing as they're two of my favorite bands. Unfortunately I missed their merch booth but am planning on picking up their CD today if I can find it. Don't be a stranger, come back and play any time...

Cheers!

Wow was Eisley amazing in Calgary last night. After they finished their set I just had to get up and make it to the merchendise booth as quickly as I could to pick up their fresly released EP. Luckily I managed to get one before they all quickly sold out (seems like they made a huge impression on Calgary). After listening to the CD I liked them even more. Their style and sound, the vocals are all oustanding. Hearing them I was awe-struck. I can't wait to follow and hear more and more about them.

I'd have to say Eisley was the one shining light of last night's concert (that, and the laser that Coldplay had for Clocks). I might have enjoyed the Music and Coldplay better if the sound hadn't been so bad (at least where I was sitting), but I was very pleasantly surprised by Eisley - having only heard of them for the first time reading a review of the previous night's concert in Edmonton. I will definitely have to pick up a copy of the EP, and I look forward to hearing more.

Maybe I missed it elsewhere on the site, but I found out ... after driving around to a couple places... that the EP (in Canada) will be in stores (according to HMV in Calgary) on June 6th. Priced at $12.99Cdn most likely. Probably a bit high as you can order it off of amazon.ca for only $8.27Cdn last time I checked (shipping in 10 - 12 days). I haven't decided if I'm going to order now or torture myself another 15 days before picking it up in store.

FutureShop or A&B will probably have it for $9.99Cdn day of release.

Just thought I'd let you all know for those who missed picking up the CD at the concert last night.

Hey guys, so glad to see you after I heard so much about you from my good friend, Mr. Arnett. I was hoping to catch you all with him in Chicago in June but allas, I moved to Canada! I was pleasantly suprised to see that you and Cold Play were coming to Calgary! -Didn't even expect it to happen! So, anyways, great job, great show, great guitars, great everything. Rock on!
