well,so like,yesterday was a gig my band and i got,and erm,i totally froze up,and totally messsed the vocals all up i was wondering,do the eisley girls get freaked,and if so,how do they handle it? cos man,they seem to take it so well,i just couldnt stop shaking,lol _________________ in my mind,ill dream http://www.xanga.com/kinzguybrush |

i know i'm not an Eisley girl (though i have the figure  ) but here's some advice from Grandpa, who has to speak in front of large groups frequently, has acted in plays, and as well is in a band.
Your stage self is not your normal self. Adopt a persona. If you're too afraid to go on as you, then go on with a totally seperate mindset and a new way to act. That's how i do it, my stage self is a hell of a lot more confident than normal old me, sort of like my forum self, he's a cocky SOB. So just focus on what you have to do, and how you have to act to be that way and just psych yourself into being some crazy rock star. I cant speak in front of a class to save my life....I used to dance and had no problem getting on a stage in front of hundreds of people to dance, but get me up to do a speech in front of 20 people and it just all goes downhill.... _________________ Life is funny, but not ha ha funny - Eels |
