Question I am an artsy thirty-something mom with an eight year old daughter that is totally into Eisley. She is also home-schooled and looks up to the band as an example of what she can become.

I'd love to take her to the show at Slim's with the Elected. It would be her first concert, and I feel it could be a positive experience for her in that it would encourage her to feel that she can do anything she sets her heart on, give her positive role models, and be a step towards feeling more grown up while still having her mom by her side.

My problem is, I don't really know that much about the Elected. I'm not sure if their lyrics or stage presence would really be appropriate for her.

Can anybody help me out with this? You're a dad Boyd, what do you think? Question

I'm going to the show at Slims, too. Very Happy

If you want to know more about the Elected, you can check out their website at http://www.theelected.com . There's a couple of songs on there that you can listen to under music.

You will be greatly missed Jonathon David Wilson. Great bassist, great guy.

I don't know about the venue, but I think the crowd will be perfectly acceptable. I wish I had been able to do something that cool when I was 8. Too bad I won't be at that show, or I'd defnitely say hi. Have fun. And may I say, you sound like a really cool mom. Smile
