Every day for a week I try and tune into university radio stations to see if they would be playing Eisley, and all my college radio stations seem to play either reggae, jazz or hip hop, if they're not airing a basketball game or a talk show. I cannot find any station playing alt rock or pop or anything like that. Sad Ohhhhhhhhhhh this is driving me crazy. Connecticut university radio stations ux. Boo hiss boo hiss

Have you tried requesting it? Maybe if you and your friends bombarded them with requests they'd warm up to playing The Eeslors(Featuring Jennifer Hopez!)

Does anyone have the angle on getting College radio to play music?

Honestly, this medium is what's fueling eisley's small expansion right
now. They're the "most added" band on CMJ - or were last week. Right
now, they're #19 on the charts. If any of you guys can get your college
stations to play eisley, you'll literally be contributing to the hopeful,
eventuality of a WB push on the alt radio. I actually believe that "adds"
on college radio is the most important thing we can be doing right now.

So... what's the answer? Get a list of all the college radio stations with
phone numbers and emails?

basically...if it's anything like a freeform radio station we have in College Park then what gets played is determined by the DJ, and all you really gotta do is call in and ask em to play Eisley and usually they'll do it unless their show genre is like...hardcore...or old shool jazz
